Who sees what?

The two of you see everything said and kept in the house, and Money stays with one of you until you open it to both. Your families see what is said to everyone, to their side, or to their circle — Mumma and Papa, immediate, close and extended family, friends — and you choose which rooms each circle may open. Your planner opens the plan, the meetings and the map, and talks to you in messages, never Money or the guest list. Anything else is not theirs to see.

Where does it live?

Each house is its own: its own private database on its own server, in Singapore, used by no other wedding. The server copies the whole house every day and keeps each copy for a week, and the house keeps its own daily copy of its database for two weeks. When you ask, we delete it — the house, every photograph and paper in it, and our own copies. The last daily copy is gone within the week.

What do guests see, and what stays in the house?

Guests see only what you send them: your wedding website, once you turn it on — the days, where, and one reply for their household, which lands straight in your guest list — and a link to add their photographs to an album without seeing anything in it. The house itself — the talk, the plan, the money, the guest list, the photographs — is only for the family you let in, and no page of it is for search engines.

Does it work at the venue with no signal?

Today does. Each phone that opens it keeps a copy — the day hour by hour, your part in it, and who to call — so it opens in a hall with no signal, and says it is the copy kept. Messages and the guest list need a signal.

What happens after the wedding?

The house becomes your archive: the photographs chosen from all the others, the wishes — guests can leave one from a link, no key needed — the thank-yous still to send, and Download everything, which gives each person a copy of all they may keep.

Does it send reminders on WhatsApp?

Not yet: WhatsApp reminders are on the way. Today the house buzzes the phones of those who turn buzzing on, with a summary each evening, and every question for Mumma or Papa has an Ask on WhatsApp button that opens the chat with the words already written.
